REVIVAL BEGINS WITH YOU - by Brent Lokker

Three Ways God is Bringing Your Heart Back to Life   Are you sensing there has to be more to life--more than simply going through the motions and trying to make it, yet still feeling a little lost and dead inside? Revival can be a buzz word to mean a general mass move of God’s Spirit in a region, but I propose genuine revival—fresh life re-birthed in us—happens one heart at a time as God puts a longing in each heart to know and encounter his loving nature as well as to be certain of our identity and origin in him. Then he fulfills that longing as a gift of his Spirit through our "Yes!" And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one!  My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!” Galatians 2:20 (TPT) “As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises we can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.” 2 Peter 1:4 (TPT) “Jesus then looked everyone in the eye and said to them, ‘Joining me in close companionship in your daily walk, involves perceiving my mission as fully representing you. Get over and done with any idea of "self" that contradicts your true I-am-ness! Here is how you do it: lift up your cross once and for all, by seeing it mirrored in mine! My cross is your cross! Trying to keep the "self" of your own making intact is a lost cause to begin with. "Losing" yourself in me, is realizing that I am the source of who you are by design!
