EMRACING FAITH: TRUSTING IN THE UNWAVERING FAITHFULNESS OF GOD - by Len DiGiovanni

Last Saturday, Len and Sue DiGiovanni shared an amazing testimony during Blazing Fire’s worship service of how Jesus restored their marriage after they had been divorced for four years. This miracle that began with two revived hearts brought transformation to their entire family and continues to bear much fruit as this couple walks alongside countless others to discover for themselves the transformation only Jesus can bring when they choose obedience to him. This is a beautiful example of how personal revival–a heart brought back to life–spreads to impact the lives of so many others who can then experience their own revival.
Here Len shares with us how to experience more of that life…

Faith, as described in the Bible, is the foundation of a believer's relationship with God. It is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). This faith is not a passive belief but an active trust in God and His promises. Throughout the scriptures, faith is exemplified by figures like Abraham, who believed God’s promise that he would be the father of many nations despite his and Sarah's old age (Genesis 15:6). Faith involves stepping out in trust, often without seeing the immediate outcome, confident that God is in control.

The faithfulness of God is a central theme in the Bible, underscoring His unwavering reliability and steadfast Love. God's faithfulness is illustrated in His covenant with Israel, His promises to David, and ultimately, in the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Scriptures like Lamentations 3:22-23 affirm that God's mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness is great. This divine faithfulness provides believers in God with a solid foundation, reassuring them that God will never forsake or abandon us (Deuteronomy 31:6). His faithfulness is a rock in the midst of our life's uncertainties, providing unexplained peace, comfort, and hope as only Christ can give.

In the believer's life, faith and the faithfulness of God are deeply intertwined [Hebrews 10:23, Psalm 37:3-5, 2 Timothy 2:13. Lamentations 3: 22-23]. Our faith grows as we experience God's faithfulness in our lives [Romans 5:3-4, James 1:2-4, Psalm 40:1-3, 2 Corinthians 1:10, Philippians 1:6. Psalm 34:4-5], seeing His promises fulfilled and His presence in our struggles and triumphs [Joshua 1:7-8, Romans 8:28, Isaiah 41:10, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, 1 Kings 8:56].

This dynamic relationship calls believers to live out their faith actively, by being obedient to His Will, trusting God’s timing and His plans, and allowing Him to be responsible for the results. As we witness God’s steadfast love and faithfulness, our trust in Him deepens, enabling us to face challenges with confidence. Thus, faith and the faithfulness of God create a cycle of trust and reassurance, empowering believers to live fully in His grace.

As we reflect on the power of faith and the unwavering faithfulness of God , I urge you to deepen your trust in Him. Embrace the challenges and uncertainties of life with confidence, knowing that God’s promises are true, and His love is steadfast. Step out in faith today -- in your personal, professional, and spiritual journey—and experience the transformative power of trusting in a faithful God. Commit to seeking Him daily, relying on His guidance, and witnessing His faithfulness in every aspect of your life.

TO KNOW HIM \ TO BE LIKE HIM \ TO MAKE HIM KNOWN
