I woke up this morning and felt my heart strongly pulled towards Papa as I cried my way through Psalm 37 (a really good cry). I want to share these three verses from the Passion Translation to encourage you today: 4 Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most. 5 Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! 6 He will appear as your Righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your Justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun. (Psalm 37:4-6, TPT) We’re in a kairos (God-orchestrated ideal opportunity) time. It’s something Kris Vallotton preached last Sunday at Bethel Church in Redding which confirmed what my heart already sensed undeniably in this past month or more. To fully glean from this Kairos season, it’s imperative that we recognize and embrace the vastness of God’s heart that’s being extended to us. Let’s face it, for most of us the waiting time and transition time we’ve been in for the past few years (especially 2016) has been tough. As my wife Suzanne tells me (I couldn’t know), the transition time just before birth is the toughest time of the entire birthing process of a baby entering into this world. We’re now in a time, orchestrated by God for hugely significant purposes, when the baby is arriving! And in the passage above, the Hebrew verb for Righteousness in Ps. 37:6 is also the same word used for giving birth! What does this all mean for you? You’ve been trusting Papa and waiting on some important promises in your life. As you continue seeking and enjoying Him as the ultimate pleasure in your life and invite Him to guide you in all you do by listening to His tender voice, He’ll not only provide for everything He’s asked you to do, but He’ll pull it off perfectly—brilliantly because our Dad’s AMAZING!
AND, He'll give birth to His promises through you and make the wrong things right, bringing those things that are out of order into His divine and perfect order. Keeping His promise to bless you will always be God’s heart for you, but as Kris Vallotton prophesied last weekend, we’re in a kairos season when Papa will do this suddenly (acceleration), against all odds (unusual occurrence) and in a way that makes no earthly sense (supernatural intervention). It's Time! My spirit knows we’re in an extra-special time, but please don’t take my word for it. This is something your own spirit must discover and embrace so you can partner with God as His son or daughter and also as a king or queen in His royal family who knows how to carry out His heart on this earth. It’s imperative that you inquire with the Lord what this means for the promises you’ve been waiting for in your life as well as for the transformation you’ve been longing to see in society.
- It’s time to reengage with the promises of God in your heart!
- It’s time to let hope arise in full force!
- It’s time to know your authority as a king or queen and call down heaven’s realities!
To remind yourself of Papa's unchanging heart towards you, the One who keeps His promises, it might do you a world of good to sing One Thing Remains out loud and strong:
Higher than the mountains that I face Stronger than the power of the grave Constant through the trial and the change One thing remains, yes one thing remains.
Your love never fails, it never gives up It never runs out on me (3x)
On and on and on and on it goes It overwhelms and satisfies my soul And I never, ever, have to be afraid One thing remains, yes one thing remains.
In death, In life, I'm confident and Covered by the power of Your great love My debt is paid, there's nothing that can Separate my heart from Your great love...
With Much Love & Anticipation in my Heart, Pastor Brent |
