In The Valley Of Transition by Pastor Lonnie Ellis

In The Valley of Transition
The winds are blowing more than ever before

"After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the
Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying, Moses
my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all
this people, to the land which I do give to them - the children of Israel"  Joshua 1:1-2

Change and Transition is a constant in life
Change or transition is one of those words we here  so much in Christian circles we tend to become numb to them. In my spirit over the last several months I have been feeling and sensing change and transition ramping up and happening to the  body Christ like never before. I don't have words to explain what is in my spirit. It is like Papa is positioning people, groups and churches around the world (especially California) for something  great that is about to be poured out from heaven. WhenI do not know but sooner than later.
Several years ago I was employed in the high-tech arena were change and transition could happen at any moment. Companies were downsized, right sized, moved to other states or sold again and again. I began to realize that people's lives change daily due to good or bad life circumstances or situations. I also got to witness how it  was common that people hated and feared change. It caused lots of fear and anxiety for people. This fear had people trying to control everything around them. One of my past employers said to me one day, Lonnie you need to embrace change and make it your friend. Neither one of us knew that he was releasing a prophetic word into my spirit. That word began to take on a life of it’s own once Jesus entered into my life.
Do you want your life to be about a good thing or a God thing?
 1. Begin the process of embracing Change & Transition and learn to make it your friend.
 2. Pray and ask your life coach The Holy Spirit  to teach you how to enter the process and walk this out in your life.

Walking through the Valley of Transition

There is nothing as permanent and as consistent as change and yet many people in our world are unskilled at the task of grappling with change. This would explain why most people can never change without pain. I know that this statement may be too difficult for some people to accept, but the fact of the matter is that most people have positioned themselves as resistors of change instead of embracing the possibility for progress that are inherent in all periods of transition. Were we to plot many people's change graph, our graph would be filled with serious downside curves representing their personal struggles with the winds of change. Their serious lack of skill in navigating the valley of transition would be quite evident. "For most  people transition is an abstract art and subjective experience instead of being an exact and user-friendly science, which can be studied and mastered". There is one thing that we can always be assured of that is- change will happen to us. But when the winds of change begin to blow into our lives they immediately bring us into the valley of transition. It can therefore be argued that transition is the voice of change and the birth canal of any kind of meaningful progress. Those who are interested in progress must prepare themselves to walk through themvalley of transition.
